BLUE MOON_la luna nello spazio di un museo

Sono trascorsi esattamente 50 anni dallo sbarco sulla luna e, con questo post, vogliamo omaggiare LA luna E IL SUO MISTERO. vi proponiamo di scoprire la luna attraverso la riproduzione di UN modello scientifico IN SCALA PROGETTATO da Johann Friedrich Julius Schmidt e Thomas Dickert nel 1898.

Exactly 50 years have passed since the landing on the moon and, with this post, we want to pay homage to THE MOON AND HIS MYSTERY. We propose to discover the moon through the reproduction of a scientific model of 1898 designed by Johann Friedrich Julius Schmidt and Thomas Dickert.

Questo modello, che simula la luna nello spazio di un museo – costituito da 116 sezioni di gesso su una struttura di legno e metallo – è stato realizzato per il Field Columbian Museum di Chicago.

This model, which simulates the moon in the space of a museum – consisting of 116 sections of plaster on a wooden and metal structure – was made for the Field Columbian Museum in Chicago.

questo dispositivo è il trionfo dell’illusione e della frenesia del visibile, che ha attraversato il XIX secolo, fino ad arrivare ai giorni nostri. LA LUNA è così diventatA uno spettacolo popolare RICONFIGURATA IN UNO SPAZIO SULLA TERRA. Un cambiamento nella cultura del visuale e nella concezione dello spazio che ha caratterizzato le correnti artistiche dell’epoca.
